Still can't move on from our holiday in December last month, where Banda Aceh was our vacation destination that we had planned a few months ago. If we go to an area or even abroad, that place must have an icon that is the mainstay of the area so that when we only see friends or someone taking pictures on the icon, we already know which city the icon came from.

Baiturahman Mosque is the grandest, widest and most luxurious mosque in Banda Aceh City. This mosque is also right in the center of Banda Aceh. You can't be said to be on vacation to Banda Aceh City if you haven't taken pictures in front of this Baiturahman Mosque. This mosque was built to resemble the NABAWI mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. With umbrellas on poles that resemble the NABAWI mosque. Even though from afar the Baiturahman Mosque resembles the NABAWI mosque in the city of Medina, but there are many differences that we encounter from these two mosques, not because of the location of the different countries, of course.

The Baiturahman Mosque, which is located in the city of Banda Aceh, has an architecture that is still very thick with the customs of the Banda Aceh people, many of the ornamental ornaments that exist in the Baiturahman Mosque describe the strong characteristics of the Banda Aceh community itself. This ornament can be seen from the shape of the door that resembles the Aceh Gate, which is a symbol of the greatness of the Acehnese people themselves, then the pillars, pillars, hanging lambs, the imam's pulpit, and other ornaments that are around the mosque are also still very strong with the Acehnese people. alone.

In the courtyard of the mosque we will find a fountain that is very beautiful if we visit this place during the day, a place to take ablution water which has become modern, and small gardens around the mosque make this Baiturahman mosque even more stunning. In front of the gate we will find officers who guard our shoes from entering the mosque, and this service is provided free of charge by the mosque manager.

Outside the courtyard of the mosque, there are also many various traders, ranging from food, drinks, souvenirs, clothing materials, clothes and electronic goods, all of which are here. If you are lazy to park your vehicle inside the mosque, then you can park your vehicle outside the mosque, and all for free without being charged and security can be guaranteed.

The dome of the Baiturahman mosque is the highest dome of the mosque in Banda Aceh City, even the buildings around the Banda Aceh area are not allowed to exceed the height of the dome of this Baiturahman mosque. Be it school buildings, hospitals, places of worship of other religions, malls and shopping centers, as well as children's play centers, or government offices, all of which must not exceed the height of the dome of the mosque, the regulation came from the local government of Banda Aceh City.
