This morning was the Moving Up Ceremony of my little boy and he is on to Grade 2 next school year. He did not receive any honor awards and he only had special awards including Polite Awardee and Behave Awardee.
He may not have received an Honor award but being a parent of a child with ASD nothing else made us more happier than the thought that he was able to get through Grade 1 at a regular school. Having the Polite and Behave Awardee is a very big bonus too!
So grateful and proud to have raised a kid like this guy! And I wouldn't exchange him with anything in the world!
