Mother's Day is a special occasion to celebrate and appreciate the love and sacrifices of mothers around the world. On this day, I want to share the inspiring story of my mother, Smt. Tanusree Bandyopadhyay.
My mother comes from a small village in West Bengal, India. She lost her father at a young age of 16, and her dream of becoming a doctor was shattered. She got married at the age of 20, into an orthodox family where she faced many challenges. But her indomitable spirit kept her going.
Despite the odds, my mother was always proactive and entrepreneurial. She started her own business and became a successful entrepreneur. Now, at the age of 60, she is an inspiration not only to me, but to many in her circle.
But her story is not just about her struggles and hustle. My mother has also been my hero. She has always been an example for me and a shield to protect me from problems. As an introverted child, I kept to myself, but my mother always understood me. When I was being bullied in school, she bought me a wooden scale to fight back. When I was struggling to find a job after completing my education, she never gave up on me and inspired me to pursue my passions.
Her unwavering support has been a constant source of strength for me, and I am grateful for all that she has done for me. She has also been my biggest supporter of my blogging, reading and reviewing my work with love and encouragement.
In conclusion, my mother's story is a story of perseverance and inspiration. She has overcome numerous challenges in her life and has always remained positive and optimistic. She is a true example of strength and resilience, and I am proud to be her child. This Mother's Day, I want to thank her for being my rock and my guiding light. Happy Mother's Day to my mother and all the wonderful mothers out there!
