There's a difference between these two experiences and this difference I will say, separates those who die with their passions lurking within them unexpressed and those who unleash their geniuses. When you own a dream, you have power over that dream. You can make the choice to pursue it or not. And when the circumstances are unpleasant, you can easily dump them for something supposedly better. But when your dream owns you, it consumes you totally that even if you try to drop or run away from it, it comes running back towards you.
The dream that owns you cannot be easily shrugged off. Such dream(s) develops a life of its own infecting its host with a pulsating passion for making it a reality.
If you must realize your dreams then you must know that it's not enough to own the dream; you must allow the dream own you. That way, the unpleasant circumstances and challenges of life will not be strong and reasonable enough to cause you to forfeit your dream for a less worthy cause.
