I am a big movie fan and one of my favorite movies is Any Given Sunday. It's a football movie with Al Pacino, Denis Quad, Cameron Diaz, James Wood, Jamie Foxx and LL Cool J. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you do.
3 months ago I did a post about the Best Monologues in Movie History with some of my favorite movie "speeches" (aka monologue).
One particular one stands out, one I used to listen to every morning when I woke up or when I needed motivation. The speech still gives me goose bumps to this day.
"Inches" speech - Any Given Sunday (1999)
I highly recommend you watch it, it is four and a half minutes and will completely fire you up.
If you think about it, a lot of it applies to Steemit as well. Being successful on Steemit is not easy, it takes a lot of work and more importantly persistence. Building an audience is difficult, time consuming, and slow. There will always be people who have it easy, but for most of us it is relentless hard work.
What will you do?
Set yourself a goal, like post every day something that offers value to the community and find at least one user with similar interests and engage them in their posts. Social media is as much about networking as it is about content creation.

Thank you @ipromote for posting this. So glad I checked my feed today. I have not been very active on Steemit because of a family situation which has dragged my spirits down. And I just check my feed once a day or every other day until things are OK and I have the mindset to really comment and engage.
This is what I really, really truly needed to Lift my Spirits up.

You go into other people's posts that are promoting ByteBall, and ninja send funds to people who are responding in the comments to steal the referral fees. It isn't a matter if you did it, I have proof you did. It doesn't even matter if you were the first to do it, you tried to do it along with others. In bird culture, this is considered a dick move.
