To be exceptional, you must stay exceptional.
Hello guys, welcome to the Steemit-Uyo blog, where you get all things exciting. Well, today, we’d be dishing out a few tips on how to be and stay exceptional, it is necessary we understand what it means to be exceptional.

To be rich is to have money and status, but to be wealthy is to have physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellness plus financial abundance. Exceptional people are those who seemingly have it all. Text Source
The Cambridge dictionary says to be exceptional, is to be
much greater than usual, especially in skill, intelligence, quality, etc.
Therefore, an exceptional person is one who is different from the normal.
So, few days ago, I was having a conversation with some friends about the rich and the poor in today’s society. With all the differences between these two categories of people, there is one respect in which we all are born equal. That is, nobody has more time than you have, nobody has less. Nobody can inherit time or keep it in the bank to gather interest. We are born equal in the face of nature and time. However, some people have separated themselves to become exceptional.
However, it is no limited to a set of people to be exceptional. It is basically free for all. Thus, to be exceptional, and to stay exceptional, there are some feature / characteristics that one must possess. They are a lot, only but a few would be discussed in this piece.
Let’s have this ride together, stay attentive;
SPEND TIME WISELY
As far as I know, one way to becoming exceptional is to spend time wisely. Invest your time in bettering yourself mentally, socially, physically and otherwise, in making yourself more skillful both in duty and in pleasure. Now you see, one universal way that people separate themselves to becoming outstanding, more successful and richer than others, is in their usage of time.
Benjamin Franklin once said;
Dost, thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.
Time, they say, waits for no one, as such every second, minute and hour counts either as productive or wasted. You can’t call back the hands of time, even though most of us desire that, but that’s impossible, trust me. So, note that;
An hour contains sixty minutes no matter who is using it. And even knowing politicians and top business tycoons cannot get you more than twenty-four hours per day.
To scale up, maximize your usage of time and be the best you can ever be.
BE GENUINELY SUPPORTIVE
This is one important feature of an exceptional person. They always want to grow with others, they understand that life is an individual race but what’s the need of getting there first and become lonely, why not help others reach the finish line with you. They understand that there’s no first position in life’s examination. As such, they sought the success of everyone around them, thus rendering their genuine support, either morally, financially or physically. This is exceptional.

SEEK HELP WHEN STUCK
Exceptional people know they can do all things, but they identify the fact that some things require the assistance of people. They identify the fact asking for assistance isn’t a weakness but rather a strength towards achieving their laid down goals. Thus, they are never afraid to ask for help.
ALWAYS ADMIT YOUR WRONGS
It is important to note that only
Ordinary people throw their hands up in exasperation when they make mistakes.
When they make mistakes in their daily interactions with people or their daily activities with people, they tend to run into denial, they are always afraid to admit their wrongs, and, in most cases, they are always too proud to admit their wrong. This is not so with the exceptional person.
For one to be exceptional, such person must be open for and to corrections, such person must drop the fear of admitting his/ her wrong or the pride of not admitting your wrongs. The exceptional person eventually turns their mistakes into prospects, as they tend to learn from it.
LEARN TO GIVE COMPLIMENTS, IT COSTS NOTHING
Compliments costs nothing to be gotten. I’m pretty sure everyone like to be complimented, it has a way of giving life to the low self-esteem, to the rejection one feels, to the depression. Compliments lifts off burdens from the minds of people.
The number one thing you should know is that compliments are free, exceptional people make use of the free complimentary cards, and they even wished it could be paid for, so they can give a more expensive gift to many more people who feel left out. Thus, do not hold back your compliments, you might be giving a soul hope to live more.
BE YOUR NUMBER ONE FAN; BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
This is another way to stay exceptional. Exceptional people tell themselves YES, I CAN, AND, I MUST. There are basically no negative vibes for an exceptional person. They have a solid conviction that they can do all things, the belief in themselves is unshakable. This is connected to the power of your mind. If your mind is not easily swerved to negative things, your thoughts would be positive always.
TALK, BUT TAKE ACTIONS MORE
Exceptional people have the greatest minds, they produce the best ideas but to stay exceptional, they put their thoughts and ideas into actions. They stay active always, they practically invest in their actions. Like they say,
empty vessels make the loudest noise.
Be wise and take actions always to stay exceptional.
Yea… I seriously wish to continue but we’d keep it for the next. You could also indulge in some personal research, it helps. Exceptional people invest in themselves too.
CONCLUSION
In sum, what differentiates you from your peers of the ordinary person, is your ability to be exceptional and stay exceptional.
