Self discovery is the process of knowing oneself, your make up, strengths, weakness etc and working on them to add relevance to the society.
There is something about knowing yourself. Related to your self discovery is your self esteem. People who suffer from low self esteem and inferiority complex are people who don't know themselves. People who don't know themselves depends on others for their self definition.
You can never be yourself as long as other people keeps defining who you are because different people have different opinion about you.
A man who cannot truly define himself cannot be truely stable and consistent in his life. He will be toss about by anything that comes and will end up being unproductive.
It is discovery that enlist you for life not necessaryly birth.
A man of discovery has discover or seen how to contribute to life in a definite way.
Life is all about contribution. Your discovery of how you should contribute to life is the first mark for living life for the fullest.
There is a treasure inside of you but you've got to discover it. Untill a man discover himself he renain in the lowest profile of life. You will be downtrodden, lightly esteem and will be operating in the lower side of life.
Gray hair is not a proof of contribution to life. You struggle to excel when you don't know the giftings in you and utilize them. You discover your gifts and then work on then to get to the top.
Untill you know your gifts through self discovery you cannot become a gift to your world.
Your birthday should be the celebration of the anniversary of the purpose/reasons you were born. Selah!
