Oh dear! - It will take me 72 years to become an SBD-Millionaire!

in #motivational7 years ago

Perhaps it's for the best if I stop thinking of things like this..

-The thing is, that I like to do it as I often use these sort of things as a huge motivator. What I will share with you in this post, is in fact, a superb motivator for myself.. - Even though I'd be 104 years old when I reach this goal, based on the results I have so far.

Here's My AUTHOR Rewards The Past 7 Days..

As you can see, I have a steady income, even though it's a small amount of earnings. The reward varies, some are higher and some are lower. - But it's still a steady income stream. - I earn something every single day.

So, what I did was to calculate the exact amount of earnings in total I had. And I calculated both the SBD and the Steem Power earnings.

My Earnings.

266,246 SBD and 123,733 STEEM POWER in 7 days.

That basically equates too:

  • 13844,792 SBD in 52 weeks.
  • 138440 SBD in 10 years.
  • 1010612 SBD in 72 years.

That being said.. The amount of SBD I earn in 72 years and even in 10 years won't be such a great motivator... - But, what I earn in 1 year and my earnings per week is definitely something amazing to look forward too!

I don't know about you, but $266 SBD per week.. - That's definitely the best paid hobby I've ever had! - No wonder I want to become a full time Steemian. - Which is exactly what I'm working towards.

Note:
These numbers will obviously vary due to the amount of articles I publish and do the rewards I earn from the work I do.. Also note that these are the author rewards, and doesn't include my curator rewards at all.

In 1 year, I'd make 6436,196 Steem Power if I had these exact results each week. - That's pretty neat!

6436,196 Steem Power and 13844,792 SBD per year. - That's in fact amazing!

And why is this a motivator..?

Frankly speaking, I use details like this to improve and up my game. - With this, I know what I've been earning so far. - However, I can use this to work harder, more and for self-improvement.

And if I look at this one week from now, three weeks from now or 2 months from now... - Then I'll be able to see if I've been able to increase my earnings or not.

Just imagine to look at this and see the SBD rewards for 1 week have doubled in a few weeks or months.. - Imagine the feeling when you look at this and you can see that you don't have to work for 72 years to become an SBD millionaire..

That's why this is a motivator for me!

I like to consider this a hobby first and the rewards are like little bonuses every day :) I liked this post because it highlighted the difference in SBD and Steem Power in terms of what motivates you - thanks for sharing!

You're welcome! - Thanks for reading it :)

Very nice look at the author rewards. I know people want to get paid but if you let that money compound I think you will reach it much faster than 72 years. The ability to attract new people to your posts with that steem power will also increase your payouts over time I think.

Yeah obviously! - What I've stated here is the earnings I'll manage to get if I continued exactly like this. Which is obviously impossible as I will be rewarded SP and gain more followers & more upvotes along the way. So it will be much quicker than this! :)

Much quicker if all goes well. I hope I will one day do as well as you but this is my first week here. So it might be a while.

Exactly. Much quicker if all goes well and so far, everything seems to go pretty well, so I hope it will continue to go like this further on too. :)

that's good earnings you show as here , But excuse me to tell you this is the average person's thinking , Because a successful person aspires to make that income in one day or even in one hour or more every single day , but any way this post is To encourage people like me anyway .
Good post :)

That is true. However, most successful people on Steemit, are either heavily invested or have been a member for a very long period of time and get support by whales and dolphins. - That's why they keep on getting those amazing rewards. - My results is based on no investments at all, and I've come this far more or less without continuous support from whales or dolphins. - Now, quite recently I've had some great support from teamsteem for instance, who upvotes more or less everything I do, with a low percentage vote. Just like he does with tons of other people. I'm super-satisfied and I can't thank him enough for the support I get, but it's more than that too it. - As I've been consisent, I also get support from many others, and it's due to all of them, I managed to get this far. - So far, I love the support and I love the rewards & attention I get, but I strive to become an established steemian, without being heavily invested.. And so far, I think I'm doing okay.

200+ a week would be full-time income for me :P

Yeah, it all depends on your living expenses. My rent is about $400 per month alone, so it doesn't work for me at all, at this time. But some day, it will! - At least that's what I'm hoping for. :)

Ouch that's high. If you live in less developed countries you can survive well with that much :)

But it's possible anyway, even if it takes that long;)

Yeah, it is possible! :)

Interesting perspective to use. Yes I believe in self-improvement as the motivation for keep going on steemit. While my goal is not to become rich, but to finance my ongoing bike travel and do have fun blogging at the same time.

I never try to compare myself to others on steemit but instead compare myself to where I was a week ago. In just a month I have gone from rewards of a few cents (and a few very lucky hits but never mine that) to a steady 5 SBD. Again, it's not a lot but it's progress and that's what matters to me :)

thanks for the good read, cheers! Maybe I will be trying to keep track of my income history as well!

That's a great way to do things. You should never compare your own results with others. Compare your results with your previous results, and nothing more than that. - I wish you the best of luck! :)

Of course, I think that the rewards will increase exponentially as you build up more of a presence on Steem

That is correct! - What I've stated here is the rewards I get and will get if everything goes exactly like this, but that's almost impossible, due to the rewards & exposure I'll get along the way. - So in reality, these results will add up much faster than what I've stated here. At least that's what I'm hoping for :)
