I don't have anything funny to write about today, so here is a video of some mountains.

Guess what happens if you make a mistake out in these mountains!

You die!

Isn't it great?

The risk. The uncertainty. The reminder that it really doesn't take much to break a human.

You go out in mountains like this often enough, and you start coming home a different person.

The little things start mattering more. Life starts feeling more valuable. The bare necessities become treasures.

Well!

I'd write more, but I have to go out in the mountains again!

Dear @brandt,

I didn't read this before my last post, but I am becoming concerned you may be affected by fairy magic. Carrying about little things and feeling life is valuable are common symptoms.

I recommend some remedies in my post, I hope they're helpful.

Thanks for this great perspective. I never knew about fairies before, so I went to the library and checked out all 328 books they had about fairies and fairy magic, and I quit my job so I can spend the next couple months reading and avoiding people. I'm already feeling better about my life.
