okuotoko (billion guy)
today I watched a movie: "Oku Otoko" - "Billion GUY".
The theme of this movie is about money and its true identity.
In the movie, the main character wins a lottery at the beginning of the movie and then looses all of it at the same time, stolen by his closest friend that he had trusted since schooldays. I am not going to write beyond this to ruin the movie.
anyway, there were two phrases that were in the movie that made me think about.
-"YUMENI NARUTO IKENAI" = "MUST NOT BECOME A DREAM"
-"NANDEMO KAERU KAMI. MARUDE KAMISAMADA. PAPERGA GODDO NANDA. JINRUIHA MINNA KOITSUWO AGAMERU SYUUKYOUNI HAITTESHIMAU. UMARENAGARANI." = "Paper that you can buy anything. Like a God. Paper is the God. All human beings will enter the religion that worships this thing. From birth."

「億男」
本日映画を見ました。「億男」
テーマはお金に関して。主人公は映画のはじめに宝くじを当て、早くになくしてしまう。それも親友に持っていかれてしまう。これは異常は書いてしまうとネタバラシになるのでここまで。
ただし、以下２フレーズがものすごく頭に残りました。
ー「夢になるといけない」
ー「何でも買える紙。まるで神様だ。紙が神様、ペーパーがゴッドなんだ。人類はみなこいつを崇める宗教に入ってしまう、生まれながらに」
It's true money is like a god. There is a book called "American Gods" where the old gods from Greece and Egypt and Norway and major religions have been replaced with gods like "Internet" and "Money". The gods will gain power based on how much people worship them. The story was....OK...but the concept was so interesting!
