Background in the future, "Mute" is about Leo Beiler (Alexander Skarsgard), a dumb bartender who lives in the city of Berlin. Leo was living in the city to find a pair of surgeons from America. Leo is not sick but he is looking for a surgeon because it is a pair of surgeons who knows where his lover, Naadirah (Seynab Saleh) is located.
