How would it be if the truth or dare game became real and continuous? This idea was brought by Blumhouse Productions a successful production house through Get Out, Insidious, The Purge, and Split.
Truth or Dare is worked on by Jeff Wadlow, the director behind Kick Ass 2 and Never Back Down and starred by young actors like Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars), Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), Violett Beane (The Flash), Hayden Szeto, and Landon Liboiron.
A group of students went to Mexico for spring break. After a week of partying, they invited a mysterious person into an old church and played truth or dare. There are some strange tensions and omens at the location, but they realize it when they return.
The Truth or Dare game was following them and going on. This game also terrorize the people involved in the night, with a series of strange and sadistic events. First experienced by Olivia, she gets a dire range of terror. After that, the terror was experienced by other Olivia friends.
Terror Truth or Dare it turns out there is intervention of supernatural beings who seemed to always follow. This game becomes even more tense because they have to answer truthfully or accept the challenges demanded by the devil. If they lie and do not challenge, their lives are at stake.
Truth or Dare managed to steal the attention of the audience through the idea of the truth or dare game story masterminded by suprsanatural beings. Like a horror thriller movie we will witness a sadistic death, arguably almost like the teen movie Final Destination and It Follows, because they died sequentially and followed.
Different from the Truth or Dare movie, he is not busy displaying the demons or supernatural beings but the faces of the possessed people with a horrible, wide smile. Jump scare that was presented also managed to surprise the audience.
Speaking of Oliva's acting role, Lucy Hale became the main spotlight in the film. Armed with the Pretty Litte Liars TV series, Lucy manages to portray a girl full of drama. Unfortunately, chemistry with other actors is less established. However, Truth or Dare can be a spectacle choice in the middle of a superhero movie.
