SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING takes a very good start in the box office. The film starring Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr. And Michael Keaton managed to get 13 million dollars just from his screening preview on Thursday night.

As predicted earlier, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING managed to steal the attention of many people, who eventually flocked to come to the cinema to watch the movie. The film became a Spider-Man movie that got the best review after Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN 2.

Previously, this movie did get a high rating, which is 93% in Rotten Tomatoes. The number was taken from 77 critics who reviewed this film positive, and 6 who reviewed negatively. This high rating is certainly a good capital to raise the income of this film later.

Due to the enthusiasm and promotion of mouth to mouth as well, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING has the opportunity to become one of the most successful films of the year. If it proves successful, this film can be aligned with GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 and WONDER WOMAN as the most successful movie series this year.

Box Office Pro estimates if SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING will get 135 million dollars or 1.7 trillion rupiah in the domestic market in its first week of release. The amount is certainly fantastic, but not impossible to achieve

The Wrap itself mentions if the number achieved by SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING on the first night of playback exceeds the number of other superhero movies. The amount is over DEADPOOL, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, WONDER WOMAN, and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

The number is also the largest among the Spider-Man franchise. SPIDER-MAN 3 'only' brings 10 million dollars, while THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 brings 8.7 million dollars.

Reported by Yahoo Movies, Tom Holland had asked about the difference between the latest Spider-Man and the old, beyond the age difference. Holland said if the main differentiator of this movie is the goal of Peter who wants to become an Avenger.

"I think the difference now is that Peter Parker has now finally got a goal, and his goal now is to be an Avenger, everything he does, even he does for the right reasons, is to prove to Tony Stark that he has the opportunity to become an Avenger in the future. Spider-Man with this kind of motivation before, "said Holland.
