According to Wikipedia, Shanty Town is a 2023 Nigerian crime thriller created by Xavier Ighorodje and Chichi Nworah and produced by Ini Edo and Chi Chi Nworah, the six-part series was released to Netflix on 20 January 2023. The series stars Chidi Mokeme, Ini Edo, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Sola Sobowale, Nancy Isime, Shaffy Bello, Ali Nuhu and a host of others. Source
Drug traffickers, prostitutes, and thugs live in Shanty Town. a city where criminal activity reigns by their leader Scar without control.
Scar is a very cunning boss who conducts a lot of shady business and is widely known as the Lord of Shanty Town, in fact Scar is the main character of the Shanty Town. After realising that the people imprisoned who Scar claims to set free are consistently missing from being alive to the extent that some of the street hustlers in Town whom Scar and his associates have held captive decide to join force and wage war against him.
Inem on the other hand whom they thought was released from prison as they celebrated her return, regained her usual activities. Although Inem is the center of the series, as the opening planned but her life is quickly glanced over and replaced by the positive things said about her by characters like Jackie and Mama T.
Jackie has now made enough money to buy her freedom from Scar and be set free from Shanty Town, after her freedom Inem a longtime friend and also a member of the Shanty Town, is released from prison and returns to Shanty Town. Jackie related the news to her old-time friend that she was free from Scar.
Meanwhile Jackie thought she could lead Shalewa some money to buy her freedom from Scar but unfortunately for her, it didn't turn out as planned.

Chief Fernandez and Dame, two strong political leaders, have Scar as their targets. Scar is now required to take action on their behalf in order to further their shared political goals.
Inem goes to work at the club, and unfortunately for her, she catches the eyes of a dangerous guest, Chief Fernandez, who molested her. Scar asks Shalewa to get close to Chief Fernandez's son Femi Fernandez, to help her clear her debt and gain freedom from Shanty Town.
As a matter of fact, you need to watch these thrilling six episodes and enjoyed every part of the story.
