Mad Max — Hive

The one that started it.

The movie is like the car, raw power and fast paced. Nothing quite like a decent V8 muscle car firing up and going down the road. Yes this was shot in the 70's and some of the style has dated a little, the acting is amazing, and the story isn't complex. However, the action, and the battle between the biker gang and the hero cop is a lot as to why this movie is a cult classic and one of my favourites.

The movie is set in Australia, and tells the story of Max a highway patrolman on the job in the back roads of Australia. Just the type of place criminals like, sparse, deserted and almost no cops. Max looses it when his wife and child are killed by a biker gang. He now only has one thing on his mind, revenge. Luckily for him he has the car to be able to do it.
