10 Fun Facts About Toy Story 3 (2010) That You Probably Don't Know

Hello movie marauders! Toy Story 3 was released June 18, 2010, and got a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. If you think that this is the last film, think again! Toy Story 4 (According to IMDb it is titled Toy Story 4: Andy Is Gone) will be released June 21, 2019. The 4th film takes Buzz and Woody on an adventure to find Bo Peep. Toy Story 3 made $1.067 billion at the Box Office, making it the 3rd highest grossing animated film of all time. Toy Story 3 is definitely a sad movie, especially with the furnace scene. I have always liked Buzz, Slinky dog, the Aliens, and Rex. Without further adieu, lets get into these fun facts!

1. Ken owns a blue and gold letterman's jacket that has a K sewn into it and a State pennant, which represents Kent State University-where Michael Keaton (the voice of Ken) graduated.

2. Tim Allen (the voice of Buzz Lightyear) and Tom Hanks (the voice of Woody) insisted that they read/record their lines together (which is not really done in animated films) because of the chemistry between their characters.

3. Toy Story 3 is the first Pixar film to be released in IMAX movie theaters, and is the longest Toy Story Movie (at 103 minutes).

4. Toy Story 3 has 302 characters. (That is A LOT!)

5. Ken pronounces the word "library" as "lie-berry." This was intentionally done by Michael Keaton as an improvisation, and was kept in the movie because director Lee Unkrich liked it.

6. It took 2 and a half years to storyboard/write the screenplay.

7. Originally, director Lee Unkrich wanted Lotso to be a Care Bear.

8. Andy's room has more than 300 stickers.

9. The Pizza Planet truck (which is featured in every Pixar movie) appears in Toy Story 3.

10. Toy Story 3 is the first sequel to be nominated for the Best Picture Oscar without any of the other movies in its series being nominated.
