Fantastic Beasts 2 Adds Nicolas Flamel To The Cast!!!

Hello movie marauders! Nicolas Flamel, mentioned in Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, has been confirmed for Fantastic Beasts 2! He will be played by Brontis Jodorowsky according to Pottermore.

Nicolas Flamel is best friends with Albus Dumbledore. Dumbledore hides his elixir to life inside Hogwarts during Harry Potter's first year at Hogwarts! I am ecstatic that Flamel will be in Fantastic Beasts 2 because we really don't know much about him. Just that he is an alchemist, and the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone. How did he get his hands on the stone? How is he friends with Dumbledore? Hopefully, all of this will be answered. I think Fantastic Beasts 2 is on the right track of bringing characters from the Harry Potter Universe to this spin-off franchise. The question is: Will it be successful?

If you don't already know from my latest Fantastic Beasts 2 article, young Dumbledore (played by Jude Law) will be in the film. This correlates with the Harry Potter series when we find out Dumbledore had to stop Grindlewald (and no one really knew about it because it did not take place in Britain). But, how does Flamel fit into this storyline?! I really hope his character is used well in the film. There is a lot of mystery surrounding his character, and sometimes revealing too much ruins it. Overall, I am still jumping up and down that he is another infamous character from Harry Potter joining the American Wizarding World!!!
