The unrepeatable Jim Carrey is one of my favorite comic actors. From the very childhood, films with Jim evoked delight and a smile on my face, so I want to tell you about the funniest comedies, in my opinion. Any of these five films can cheer you up on long autumn evenings. So, let's begin!
Mask
(1994)
The story of the complexed and shy worker of the bank Stanley Ipkins, in whose life there is a series of events that completely change the daily routine of a modest man. One evening, returning home, Stan finds a magic mask on the river bank. Soon he discovers the amazing abilities of this strange artifact: wearing a mask on himself, the protagonist turns into his complete opposite and with it adventurous events occur.
The film gained great popularity in the nineties, but I must note that the picture is still relevant for viewing now.
Dumb and Dumber

Lloyd Krismas, the driver of the limousine, once drove the beauty of Mary Swanson to the airport and by an absurd accident she left her suitcase in the car. Having discovered this, the protagonist and his idiot friend decide to go in the footsteps of the girl, to return the baggage by right and receive a reward in return. What was their surprise when it became clear that the suitcase was packed with hundred-dollar bills ...
Few people know that the two main characters of the film (Lloyd Krismas and Harry Dunn) the creators named after the famous comedian Harold Lloyd.
Liar, liar

Jim's hero, Fletcher Reed, is a successful lawyer who has won the most complex trials. The success of a lawyer is built on lies. To devote himself to a career, he is forced to lie to everyone around: wife, son, co-workers. On his birthday, his son Max was very upset because of his father's absence at the festival. Blowing out candles on the birthday cake, Max comes to his head with a single desire - that his dad will never lie again. The magic of a sincere child's word turns Fletcher's life upside down and derails his whole career. Will the main character win the trust of the family and return everything to its place?
For the film "Liar, Liar," Jim Carrey was forced to abandon the role of Doctor Evil in "Austin Powers".
Me, Myself & Irene
(2000)
The main character of the film has no day to day. Today he is a kind and sympathetic guardian of the order of Charlie, and tomorrow he becomes a rude, crooked lover of booze Hank. It's all about the diagnosis, which put the caring father of three sons - a split personality. Hank in every way spoils the life of Charlie, appearing at the most inopportune moments. However, both characters fall in love with the beautiful Irene and the course of history changes its course.
During the filming of the scene, where Jim was supposed to suck the breast milk of a nursing woman, was very much embarrassed and, at his request, only the director and the cameraman were present on the frame.
Bruce Almighty
(2003)
Journalist Bruce Nollan pessimistically looks at life. Bruce constantly complains about his fate and blames the Almighty for the fact that he does not manage to come to his dream - to be the leading TV news. God was tired of listening to Bruce's complaints and appointed a meeting with him, during which he transmitted to Nollan a mighty divine power. Whether the main character will cope with the hard work of the creator, you will find out after watching this wonderful film.
Initially, the role of God claimed Robert De Niro, but in the end it was played by Morgan Freeman.
