Lately I've been thinking that, in a world of instant global communication, we should probably all just use UTC... ;)
That makes sense. UTC +/- whereever one lives. ⏲
Naw, just UTC...
Then, for example, living on the left coast, I'd just get used to the fact that 16:00 UTC is breakfast, 20:00 UTC is local noontime, and 01:00 is quitting time... :D
