Paf museum is located adjacent to the paf base faisal on the main shahrah-e-faisal. The museum was inaugrated on the 14th agust 1997 by the then chief of the air staaf air chief marshal abbas khattak and subsequently oped to the general public in october 1997.
Amid the lush green lawns different aircraft
Including f-86 sabre f-104 starfighter mirage
FT-6 F-6 T-33 U-Mig15 MFI-17 Mushshak, Aero Commander, Antonov An-12, Beech D-95A Travel Air, T-6G Harvard, Huskie Helicopter, etc and other Air Defence equipment have been displayed. Besides, a souvenir shop has also been established for the visitors
Moreover Schools Institutional and organizational visits are also conducted by the museum Advance to co-ordination and information of these visits is appreciated to facilitate the visitors.
The canteen caters for small needs of the visitors. Cold and hot drinks, mineral water, beverages and snacks are available at market rates. fun land for the children with swings and merry-go-rounds is also available. The newly installed entertainment simulator is a new type and unique experience to the visitors
Paf Museum not only preserves the history of paf but also helps create greater bigger harmony between the paf and general public. It also carries and conveys an inherent message that we can make and maintain our environment clean and green by collective efforts.
