So, who knows what kind of mushroom this is? Is it edible? Poisonous? Both?
I'm not expert mushroomer, nor even a remotely learned mushroom individual, but I know a big mushroom when I see one. We saw this type of mushroom a few times while hiking in the Cranberry Wilderness in West Virginia (@yumyumseth), but I was amazed at how huge these living pancakes were.
While this is not necessarily a photo meant to be pretty, I just wanted to see if others had seen big boys like this around? I never have..
