Back in November 2017, I read an article on RA that one of my all time favourite LA-Artists "Flying Lotus" is working on his next studio album on WARP and prepares a smashing 3D tour.
The concept of a 3D tour has been on FlyLo’s mind since meeting up with 3D Live and exploring their latest technology. Blown away by the level of immersion, he knew this would be the direction for his next live show within minutes of his first experience. “There’s no way you can enjoy the experience with your phone or holding your phone up," he explains. “You have to watch and experience it with your eyes and be present in the moment.” as written in his Interview on Pigeonsandplanes
First he shared one track called "Post Requisite" (click link to watch the clip) and posted this video, directed by Winston Hackingon on his youtube channel.

"You are dead" is featuring Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat, Niki Randa, Herbie Hancock, Snoop Dogg, Captain Murphy and Angel Deradoorian. It was described as "a shamanic pilgramage into the psychedelic Unknown of the infinite afterlife".

Thanks for all the fly-lo content! there's tons to go through. I like that no phones rule, it's really bad these days. I saw part of Future's set at Coachella last year just for jokes but it was the first time I've seen EVERYONE in an entire audience take their phone and it sucked!! I was like come on put all your phones away.

I'm listening to it right now! He's got such an interesting aesthetic to his music. It's hard to define him, when you think he's one style he switches it up on you! He hops between and merges genres and it ends up sounding interesting and engaging. I love producers like that, I really value versatility. I'll be listening to this while I do a write up for @steemsports :)

Doing a 3D spectacle of a live show plays to something I’ve thought a ton about whilest on the road touring...as music becomes more and more of an instant gratification, witness any moment in time on YouTube type of engagement, making the live show as visceral as possible really does become the only way to get people out from behind a screen and ENGAGE. Props to flying lotus for a -lifer- career making exactly the kinda music he wants to make and making it work commercially on his own terms.
