British Cop Show Funk Of The Day!: Peter Reno - Silver Thrust

in #music7 years ago

This is a classic b-boying anthem that I used to break to back in the day.

Some info on Peter Reno from Wikipedia: "Peter Reno was a prolific musical composition partnership between Peter Taylor (composer) and his business associate, Cliff Twemlow. They were active throughout the sixties and seventies and had music included in popular TV shows including Queenie's Castle and Crown Court (TV series) and several films including Dawn Of The Dead."

This track was recorded at the De Wolfe Music Studio. De Wolfe Music has an interesting history, which you can read about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Wolfe_Music

I'm not sure what a "silver thrust" is...the thrust of a silver knife used to stab a werewolf broken loose out of the De Wolfe music studio through the heart?

Use cases are listed as "Car Chase, General Action", and the official page is here: http://www.dewolfemusic.com/trackdetail.php#!/?id=9057647&code=rjh4KW

I'd be curious to know what scene(s) this track was used in, but I searched for a sec and only saw that the Bite Harder album booklet might contain something on that.
