At long last we have begun recording for our first album. Drummer Jeff has dedicated a very long weekend to getting all the drumming down. This recording setup uses 16 microphones!
We synced a click track to one of our recorded practice sessions (making slight tempo changes to even things out). This proved to be the best thing for our drummer to listen to while recording.
Once drums tracks are down for all the songs we can begin recording guitars/bass. I know this wasn't the biggest update but it is an exciting one nevertheless! Stay tuned for more updates in the not-too-distant future and check out my first post about our album below.
