This hip hop beat is similar to that of a modern freestyle rap instrumental. These drums have a very natural boom-bap and the natural-sounding reverb on the drums keeps the beat wide open with very little background instrumentation.
The beat is a 16 bar loop back to back. The beat doesn't have an intro, or a hook, while there is a change-up towards the end of each 16 bars.
I recently made several trap beats so here I decided to make something that rappers like Drake or J Cole would freestyle rap over but sound more modern.
