We all know some practically-unknown tunes that are BETTER than what is winning Grammys.
Music awards are out of touch, so I am creating an award to recognize all the artists making incredible music that are too low in exposure to ever be considered for something like a Grammy / MTV award.
The award will be given Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly. This way, more artists can be recognized, and we can be responsive to brand-new releases.
We are Seeking Nominations
Because the awards are brand new, we are asking for early submissions. Because the award works with cXc Music (music.cxc.world), you will need to post the music on cXc Music with the location of recording first, then post the link as a reply here to be nominated.
Alternatively, you can reply with the location (city name/country) and links and I can add it. It’s fine to nominate yourself also.
What we’re looking for
Creative Authenticity
Waves will be given based on how much radically authentic human emotion is coming through.
The Award
I am planning to call the award a “Wave” or maybe “waVVe” or “wavv” or "Wavves Awards".
Winners will be recognized in a post on our Steemit, Medium, and Website, and also shared on social media. The winners will also be recorded into a page that will hold all winners, and shared here on Reddit.

Single - A single song, just the music.
Album - Any named collection of more than one song belongs here.
Live Music - This includes everything preformed live, from one song to an entire set
