With great joy do we bring you this update.
In the last 3 months, since we came into steemit as a nigerian record label, we had only a basic set of tools, and no backup.
Things went downhill when our external investors , granted they were friends, pulled out and decided they wanted only the vested Steempower on the account.
Since then, for over 3 months, the activities of debrecords had been seriously disrupted as any attempt to use the account to post would cause a quarrel as to how the rewards should be shared.
This has been shared here before so no need beating around that bush.
Rather a way forward is now upon us.
Steemit has always made a way and made everything better, and this is especially true with the latest connections that we have made via the blockchain.
In the quest to bring steemit and music to the forefront of nigerians, as we as create a massive platform where talents of all kinds can come and not be discriminated against or cheated out of their earnings because they are new.

The current management of debrecords is currently in talks with @mrprecious , steemian, talent manager ,vocal coach ,music critic, 10 years in the business.
With his help, as well as the help of @leadent360, and other connections we are making, we are on the step to actualizing the following goals.
build a new age record label connected to a blockchain .
become a semi-decentralized label system whereby the community and talents have a hand in the decision making process.
onboard talents from different walks of life without discrimination and cheating them of their fees.
prop up, tutor, grown and establish talent through our mentorship programs.
