RE: WILCO | Lowlands Festival | Biddinghuizen, Netherlands | 19 August 2012

Welcome to our community! Hope you'll have a great time with us :)

Seriously, though, this is probably when Wilco was their most outwardly experimental

I don't know too much of Rock, but this recording of their Lowlands gig doesn't sound experimental to me at all. What I do like is they mix in some electronic sounds (keyboards maybe?). A cool combo.

My plan, however, is to mostly share highlights of Wilco performances

I do hope you'll be sharing something else other than Wilco as well. Don't you think your blog will become a little boring when only Wilco?

BTW, did you ever visited Lowlands? The biggest (and oldest) music, art, theatre festival of the low lands, my home country :)

Sort:

I guess it's not experimental as far as the genre of "experimental" itself. I just meant the weird outbursts of percussion, the electronics, and that sort of stuff. They started off are a more straight-forward alt country band.

Part of my thinking of starting a Wilco live performances blog was to hopefully get some sort of ranking in Google and search engines at some point and bring some traffic to Hive. I suppose I wasn't thinking about how it could be perceived just within the Hive bubble, so that's a good point. I'll have to consider branching out a little bit or maybe just not posting too often.

Oh and no, I have not visited Lowlands. Sounds cool. I haven't been to many huge festivals in my life. A lot of concerts, but not so many huge festivals.

HIVE posts are not doing well in Google. Not sure if we as bloggers can do something to increase the rating in Googles search engine. You may know, assuming your already know HIVE and this is an Alt account?

Then you are missing out big time {LOL} Festivals can be (depending on what exact festival we are talking about) soooooo much more fun than a concert.
