Here is a cool song by Garage Rock Revival band The Wylde Mammoths from Sweden. Apparently this is from 1987. I was listening to Garage Rock at the time but I don't recall this song or band so this is a new one to me.
It's a guitar tune with a riff that reminds me of I Need You by The Kinks. The singer's voice is a bit gravelly and not really in the front of the track. The song has a very cool guitar break but it is too short. That also sounds like The Kinks.
Here is I Need You by The Kinks from the mid 60s. Do you hear what I hear regarding the similarity to the Wylde Mammoths track above?
