In 2016, Grace Kelly launched Trying To Figure It Out, in which numerous musicians take part, including the leader of the famous jazz, funk, rock and world music group Snarky Puppy. Almost all the themes are her own and reflec her desire not to be pigeonholed in any genre, since she simply composes what she likes. In it you can find “Blues for Harry Bosch,” which she wrote for the Amazon.com television series Bosch. The album was voted number-two “Jazz Album of the Year” in the Downbeat Magazine Readers Poll.

Kelly also recorded the music videos “Blues For Harry Bosch” and “She’s The First” along with its single, which she donated to the non-profit organization with the same name that addresses gender inequality by way of education. In 2017 she was executive producer and composed the soundtrack for Raphael Sbarge’s short film The Bird Who Could Fly, which won several awards, and toured the United States and Europe. She also created the Fred Taylor Scholarship Fund producing, presenting and performing in a charity concert supported by the Berklee College of Music.

In 2018 Kelly won the John Lennon Award - Country Category and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest - Grand Prize Country category for the song “She’s The First”. That same year the acclaimed vocal group that often sings a cappella (without backing of any musical instrument) The Manhattan Transfer included in its album The Junction her song “Blues for Harry Bosch” in which she also appears. Likeways she introduced two works in a new video/audio format titled Go Time: Brooklyn and Go Time: Brooklyn 2 that fit Duke Ellington’s swing, Bruno Mars’ folk, Ray Charles’ rhythm and blues, Michael Jackson’s pop and her own songs. Finally, in 2019 she recorded the single “Feels like Home”.
