Perhaps you've worked it out by the title but I'll be attempting to bring you a semi-regular insight into some of the local (Perth WA), national (Australia) and international (Earth) acts that you've probably never heard of and you might enjoy, or at least broaden your musical horizon.

So without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Local

Traingle Fight

An awesome stripped back rock band with great song writing sensibilities and musicianship to match. Featuring brothers Paulo (vocals & guitar) and Martin (Bass) Gonzalez with Sofia Varano on the drums. With flavours of early Muse and At The Drive In they manage to get a great full sound with minimal instrumentation. Oh yeah, Paulo's vocal are spot on! If your ever in this neck of the woods keep an eye out for them. At least check out their band camp page (link above).

Sex on Toast

There's perhaps too many and not enough ways to describe Sex on Toast all at once. A 10 man onslaught of pure fun! That might be one way. I almost included them in the local section but they're following is growing rapidly beyond their hometown of Melbourne. They span everything from 80's schlock to 70's funk and disco with their tongues planted relentlessly in their cheeks. There's too many members to list here just go see them if you're in Melbourne (or where ever they happen to be touring).

Future of the Left

Whether they're playing balls to the wall rock, a rhythmic little ditty or some off kilter post punk-ish jam it's hard to ignore Future of the Left. The oddball little group consists of former Mclusky members Andrew "Flaco" Falkous (vocals, guitar) and Jack Egglestone (drums) with Julia Ruzicka on bass. Live they are a face melting joy and Falco's sly wit and charisma on stage is something to behold. If they tour near you see them!
