You Can't Push Us Around
There something about the track that just resonates with me, maybe the mix of punk with a hip-hop flare.
Well it does after all have the legendary Travis Barker from Blink 182 on the drums, and then the new punk rap bad boy Yelawolf, who I must say has a very interesting style. The idea of crossing over between rap and punk rock might sounds strange, it worked pretty well with the more heavy rock and metal scenes, which was a huge thing in the nineties. Here i do think it does go down pretty good, especially with Tim Armstrong from Rancid adding the chorus hook.
The video was also actually directed by Tim Armstrong, which also adds that very raw and dirty punk feel to the visuals. Travis and Yelawolf actually collaborated and produced an entire EP together named Psycho White, with this track being one of the five songs. The Alum didn't do too bad and made it to position 49 on the US Billboard 200 chart in it's first week of release. I wouldn't say the song is new, but it's new in the sense that you probably haven't heard it, so enjoy.
Psycho White is a collaborative EP by American drummer Travis Barker and rapper Yelawolf. It was released on November 13, 2012 under LaSalle Records, Famous Stars and Straps and Killer Distribution. The first single of the EP, "Push 'Em" was released as a free download via Yelawolf's Twitter page and on numerous hip hop websites on September 12. The artwork was released the same day as well as a behind-the-scenes video of how the artwork was created.

Awesome track! Kinda has a slight reggae feel to it as well or is it just me? Was hoping Travis would show off with a little bit of a drum solo but alas nothing!
