We are a firm believer of "Practice and Rehearsals to be Great". We ourselves have even experienced the truth behind this conception that up until this very moment we are still living it's power and its undoubting reality to us.

We at River of Life Symphony Orchestra Foundation Incorporated or also known as ROLSOFI is a group of young musicians whose core members are mostly composed of high school students. The bracket of our ages runs as early as 9-24 years old. We are by the way situated here at Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines.

The group started when our pastor received a vision from God to build an orchestra as she was scribbling her notes in Qatar. With this, our pastor was really shock for she herself is not a music oriented person. But you asking how is it possible to form a group as this without one being really knowledgable in music, then we only have one thing to say --- ITS GOD HIMSELF who made these things come into reality.

The vision of the orchestra is to form 4000 musicians to play and worship the Lord just as like King David when he appointed 4000 levites to play at the temple of the Lord. In the same way, we want to honor God by worshipping him in his temple through music since music begins from him and it'll only ends to him.

That's why to be able to achieved that vision, we ourselves should also be ready as we head on to the battle. We decided to have our first Music Recital, empowering each department to develop and exceed their current learned skills to excellence for the Lord. However, we always carefully bear to our mind that the only reason we want ourselves to improve is we want it to offer to the Lord and nothing more else. Not even for ourselves nor for our family but only for the Lord, who deserves such honor and glory forever.

And now without any further ado, allow me to raise the curtain as we commence our First Music Recital:

They are Jeneva, May Ann and Jean Loren. They are our violin 1 who play the little difficult piece entitled Our God by Chris Tomlin. These young ladies are very reliable to us because they easily get the melody of the song by just using their ears. Such a gift from God.

They are Yayen and Sarah, two of our violists who play the song Filled with Glory. Viola is an instrument in the middle of violin and cello characterized by its beautiful alto sound in the string department.

Yugs in the middle our trumpeter, plays the song How Great is Our God. He is also reliable because He's quick in creating melodies of a song.

Jom and Ice playing Saxophone Alto and Clarinet respectively play the recital piece Yahweh is Holy. They are both really good as they are two of the most established brass and woodwind players.

After the recital, everyone were just all rejoicing to finally reap the harvest of their labor. They apparently noticed such improvement to themselves such being able to play those difficult musical pieces. That's why everyone were just all in celebration as we finished the day honoring the Lord Most High by name of Jesus. Shalom Everyone. I hope we can reach to where you are now and share to this heavenly-called vision.

This looks really fun! I wish there was a video to listen to :)

Oh yes @fullofhope. I do have. However, the connection is just too slow for me to download all of them. Anyway, I will post some of these songs and covers of us later. Thanks for appreciating it.
