Fist things first, allow me to introduce myself.
I am a professional bassist/songwritter originally from Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal living in Brooklyn NY.
Once upon a time I had a fairly successful niche Youtube channel with 20.000+ followers, and over 260 bass covers with note-by-note transcriptions of the original bass line written in wonderful music notation along side, for free, no paywalls. In 2015 all that went down the drain when my channel got terminated due to a loophole after one of my covers received a copyright strike. You can read all about it on the petition I setup to get Youtube’s attention and get my content and followers back, to no avail.

Ever since then I started looking for another platform to reach the people who will hopefully find use in the exploits of my practice as I hone my craft as a musician. I’m excited to start sharing my work with the with you guys!
Now that we done with introductions, onward to the good stuffs.

Live and on most records Nick O’Malley takes the bass duties in the band. According to my research, this time around Alex Turner pulled a Stevie Wonder on a couple of tracks of “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino” and played (almost) all instruments. Go Alex!
