We spent a beautiful May afternoon by the Rio Grande in Albuquerque, and got to hear Last Call, a local contemporary jazz quartet. This was for the annual Poet's Picnic, at the Open Space Visitor's center. Besides the pretty setting and grounds, the center hosts a variety of local and indigenous art, as well as exhibits o the nature of the Rio Grande. Last Call is Tim Sleigh on saxophone, Harry Weingardt on Guitar, Michael Druxman on Bass, and Donald Bailey Jr. on the drums.

Look like so beautiful sounds and things going on with this . So much enjoyable things to keep in mind at time of attending. 👍

Sounds like there was quite a few people enjoying the music and having a good time outside chatting. I must get out more as that looks like an enjoyable afternoon out.
This looks like it was a perfect day! They seem like a really talented group of guys. I am always amazed at how well woodwinds fit into a jazz group like this. It just isn't something I ever think of having been in band for seven years.
It is a very funny music. It reminds me a lot of the golden age of jazz.
