Did your Favorite Artist Didn't Change?

Have you felt like this before? Seeing your favorite Singer/Artist sang their songs that you loved for years and because of that song you became their fan?

Yesterday, while browsing on YouTube I found a video of Katy Perry with her acoustic guitar. This was not a typical thing to see from her since I haven't saw her playing guitar. Since I was a fan, I play that video and unexpectedly heard that she was singing "Thinking of You". Did you know this song? It really makes my heart beats fast and got a bit of tears while watching her performing this song.

This was her first song that caught my attention way back I guess 2008-2009. This song got a number 1 spot for Music Channel in the Philippines and I also remember that Taylor Swift's "Love Story" got the number 1 spot too. These two songs battled for the top 1 spot and I really love these songs. As a part of my teen age years, songs would be a good way of travelling back to years of memories.

Katy Perry playing acoustic guitar really impressed me and the fact that she was pregnant... Oh she's so beautiful! Some artists that I used to admire switches to new genre's. Like Taylor Swift, I used to know her as an Country Singer/Pop then after years she reinvented her music into a new level to a good one. As a fan girl, I missed their music the way I used to know them before.

I don't know if some can relate on me, but honestly I am so sensitive for some artist that switches to reveal more skin to be "IN" rather than improving their skills and talents. Being a fan also gives me the idea of mixing their style and learn from them. Every artist/singers has a unique voices that will be their trademark. This kind of observance may lead you to imitate your favorite artist rather than releasing your own voice identity.

I think Katy Perry's voice was hard to imitate. She's a got a beautiful deep voice and I never heard anyone sounded like her. I would say that some of her song didn't fit to my type of voic, she got a higher range than mine lol. Kidding aside, the reason why I love this song was the meaning of it. Though the official music video seems so sensual, but when you learned the story of being in love with your past lover needed first to get over to it before entering new relationship.

In conclusion and maybe I would end into this: Songs are made to be a part of our present and past lives that would remind you to many memories.
