Finished a Hip-Hop project for one of my clients! (Requesting feedback)

in #music8 years ago (edited)

I finished mixing a track for one of my clients today!

For those of you who don't know, I am a record label owner/audio technician. Today I got around to finishing one of my clients tracks!

A-Swens is a client I met about a year ago who also represents Seattle, WA as I do. He is an 18 year old Hip-Hop artist that really puts his heart and soul into his lyrics. He has struck gold a couple times on YouTube with his freestyling skills, and I can say that he is one of the hardest working artists I have ever worked with. It is a pleasure of mine to release his track here named "Don't Need Her" under my label. I pasted the Youtube video below with an inside look on the process of the mixing and mastering. I use Ableton for the whole editing process.

For pure listening purposes, here is the Soundcloud link.

Thank you for upvoting and appreciating my work! I will be keeping an eye on what you bring to the table for sure! I agree with you that Steemit is the future.

Thank you, I very much appreciate it!

The mix certainly sounds fine on my headphones. Much better than anything I've ever done anyway.

Thanks man for that feedback, I only have a couple of ways to listen to the mix and that's why I post things like this. Never give up by the way man, if you enjoy what you do you can never have a bad day.

You're welcome. And, I don't plan on giving up, I enjoy making noise far too much to give it up.

True that bro!
