Ten waves of the Rhythm Ace's predecessor for free is a fine gift for the lo-fi crowd, that organic percussion texture should layer beautifully under heavier drums.
The older Rhythm King waves have this woody knock the later digital machines never quite nailed, glad you caught that.
The Rhythm King's raw lo-fi percussion is the perfect ancestor to sample, since the whole charm of those early Ace Tone machines is how unpolished they sound next to the later Roland boxes.
The unpolished thing is the whole appeal, those Rhythm Kings sound like they are held together with tape and it works.
