The Rhythm Master lineage from before Roland even existed is a fascinating origin story, and having those early electronic percussion sounds as a free download makes it irresistible.
That pre-Roland lineage is exactly what got me digging into it, the sounds feel like a missing link.
957KB of pre-Roland history is a generous little package, and free on top, which makes that boxy early drum-machine snap easy to work into a track.
