Wav-Legion is a collaborative fusion music project that started in November 2018 when I (Bonnie Legion) connected with Canadian Musician/Producer wav-Dr. We have been on a joy ride of sound creation and exploration over these past years and are pretty thrilled to announce the official release of our 7th full length album Wav-Legion Behind The Mask.
Our first album titled Wav-Legion dropped in early 2019 and was a real dive into a whirl of unique sounds. Our most popular track on this album was Heavy Weight (our very first collaborative track), which was an electronic duet track with some heavy dark vibes, catchy lines and some soulful guitar grooves that reminded me of something you would hear in a Quentin Tarentino film. This QT reference is something I have mentioned a lot with wav-Dr. instrumentals, I really get an old school folk western feel off a lot of his instrumentals but with a fresh modern twist.

Wav-Legion II was our second album release also dropping in 2019 and was a continuation in sound exploration with several production features from artists like Metropolis Music, Miss eFeMby and Robert P. Kreitz. The productions dive deep in drum and bass, pop-rock and hip hop fusion.

For our 3rd Album, we went all-in on collaboration with 16 original tracks featuring all types of various style producers from all over the globe. This album really was an adventure to put together with artists such as Ethanol Addiktz, Billy Korg, Jantzen, Tyger Tyger, Davood Faramarzi, Psionic Tremors, Metropolis Music, Bufinjer, D-vine.

Our 4th album Wav-Legion Millionaire was an all our party of an album just having an absolute blast on topics lyrically and sound wise a real fun play in modern pop twist, I mean cause why not! . We got return features from producers such as Metropolis Music, Psionic Tremors and Billy Korg.

In Early 2020 wav-Dr. and I decided to break things down outside of the electronic music realm and go in for a fully raw acoustic album. I tell you guys this is one of my favorite Wav-Legion collaborative albums. Wav-Legion Acoustic put me in a place I was very comfortable with and that was writing to the soothing and emotional sounds of the acoustic guitar. My absolute favorite song Fortified is on this album as well as a handful of other favorite tracks.

Our 6th Album Wav-Legion Sign Wav Dropped at the end of 2020 and a lot of emotions and spill out happened lyrically on this album. The creative fusion was on point with out past albums but on a whole other level of production with wav-Dr. he was taking things deep and getting some absolutely beautiful collisions in sound. This album was a cheer adventure and really fun to create. My personal favorite track on this album is Bond cause it hits some very deep vibes and the production is killer.
And now!!! here we are at the official release of our 7th full lenth album Wav-Legion Behind The Mask. It has been a truly wild year for all of us, the world has changed in so many ways and thrown so many of us for a loop. I really feel like a theme for this album for me is being in the fog. There is a bit of a sadness in this album that I think over saturates in some tracks such as serpents in the dawn, fog of the seas, whispers and warriors, fake news and pricks. Also there is an element of Gunslinger Goddess on this album as well with two tracks with that QT vibe coming in heavy from Dr. and some fiesty bars about ownin and shootin guns, defending yourself and standing confident.
I am truly proud of all the work and time put in creating these albums. I honestly feel like they have fullfilled part of my lifes purpose and given me such a great outlet for release and understanding in myself and others. The collaborative process with wav-Dr. is beyond a dream. I have worked with hundreds of producers and artists over the years and we really slid into a well oiled machine of song creation. We not only produce and record these tracks together over the wires but also create original artworks and music videos and live performances to share along each albums creations. Featured on 3 tracks the incredible drum stylings of Al Black from Brothers Black Studio. When I first heard Al on one of our Wav-Legion tracks I was truly blown back by his skillz on those drums. We both feel he fits right into the dynamic and it's a huge honor to have him in with us. My favorite track on this album is Doorstep which features Al on the drums, you absolutely gotta check it out. The album also features a track with UK rapper and one of my most amazing partners in musical crime, Mr. Majik.
