Last night's acoustic session at the White Horse in #Arlesey was not as crowded as some, but folk are taking holidays around now. It was still good fun. I was trying out some songs to perform at the open mic on Friday.
My beer for the evening was Belhaven Elephant Session Ale. I can't find it in their site. Apparently a session ale is one that it lighter in alcohol so you can drink more of it. 4.2% is not that light. It didn't have a particularly strong taste, but it was pleasant enough. I tend to be concentrating more on the music than the beer, but I'll still enter this for the #BeerSaturday challenge by @detlev.
The music is always fun. We have a wide range of abilities. There were a fair few original songs played. We need to encourage and support love music.

What songs did you try out?
I thought I recognised that beer! I had some recently during my Scotland trip, it was very nice too and didn't mess me up like some others have. This is in regards to 'choking to death at night while trying to sleep'.

I whish we still had Jamsessions in Zutphen.. They stopped some years ago. Great to have a beer and make music. If I want to go to a session I have to go to Arnheim or so, and that's just a bit to far :(
