RE: Beenie Man & Bounty Killer To Battle For Verzuz (The night that Dancehall came to life)

Hi, it is me again.

Wow, you've done really well with your posts. You need to power up your rewards; so that your account has more resources.

Half of your rewards comes in the form of HIVE DOLLARS aka HBD (Hive-Based-Dollars).

I am not sure of the purpose of the HBD. I believe that the developers of the site were hoping that there would be internal marketplaces where people bought goods and services with HBD. This never happened.

What you should do at this point is to turn the HIVE DOLLARS into HIVE and then power up your HIVE. If you click on your Hive Dollars, you will see that there is an internal market. You can place a bid on this internal market to buy HIVE. This is the page for the Internal Market:

https://wallet.hive.blog/market

There is also a conversion process. The Conversion process is weird. The process takes 3.5 days. It deletes the HIVE DOLLARS and creates new HIVE. The conversion process adds a premium to your HIVE.

The easiest way to Convert your HBD is with HiveSigner.

HiveSigner.com is a web site that authenticates Hive users. It is the one and only site (other than hive.blog) that you should trust with your account keys.

You can edit the link below in your browser. Replace ACCOUNT with your account name @indigoblue . Replace UNIQUEID with any random id. The amount is the amount of HBD you want to convert.

https://hivesigner.com/sign/convert?owner=ACCOUNT&requestid=UNIQUEID&amount=0.000%20HBD

I made a page that will assemble the HiveSigner.com string for you. I put the page here: https://yintercept.com/steemit/hbd.html

All my page does is assemble the HiveSigner.com link. I don't know why this is not in the primary interface.

PS: I usually use the internal market to convert my HBD to Hive. I use the conversion if the internal market price is not inline with the price on the exchanges.

Saving the day again. Thanks so much @yintercept for the info 🤗. If you don't mind can you please add me on discord ? @indigoblue2801 I have some questions

I don't have a discord server. I am not with HIVE.

Like most people on this platform, I have no idea how to contact the people that matter. They are an elusive lot.

I've been giving delegations to new users simply because their accounts don't work without a delegation. I was stuck in that pit myself.

I admit, the reason I hope you convert your HBD to HP is that I could then remove the delegation and give it to someone else.

You might be able to ask your question on Hive Beginners Tips . If it is a general interest question you might ask Ask the Hive ... read the community's sticky note before asking questions on their community.

Ok cool. thanks again for your help. You can go ahead and remove the delegation whenever you are ready. I will sort out this HP thing 😊. Keep up the good work with helping out the newbies. You are the best @yintercept!!!

You have a nice payout coming due in two days. I was planning on removing the delegation when after you received the next payout.

You have probably figured out that having HIVE POWER increases the value of your upvote. When you have $500 HP, your upvote is worth $0.02. Hive sweeps the votes on a post with under 0.02 as dust and sends notifications when upvotes are worth more than 0.02. So, $500 in HP is a sweet point.

The problem is that buying HIVE is like juggling with knives. If you catch the wrong end of the knife you can get hurt.

Coingecko shows that the price of HIVE was around $0.35 when you joined HIVE 15 days ago. It has since dropped to $0.27. So, if you bought $500 in HIVE when you joined, you would have lost a good third of your investment.

When I joined, the price of HIVE was $4.00. The people who bought HIVE at the time lost 90% of their investment. I did not buy HIVE until this year.

Yea, that is fine. I haven't invested in any Hive as yet either since I'm still trying to figure out things. I do plan on doing it soon tho.
