Hello Folks, I'm Mark, the Founder of a Startup Music Platform aiming at resolving some of the issues currently in the Music industry. Using a combination of Blockchain Tech as a tool, and proven Online Business Models, structured in a unique way for the industry.
We've been in and around the music industry and in business for a few years, from several angles - (check out the team profiles) and seen how the current Streaming model has worked OK for the consumer / listener, but not so much for the Musician. Plus, as music is so freely available everywhere - a Musician can't even make a bit of money by selling cd's any more.
Also, we feel that the "Big" players in the industry tend to favour just a style of music that they think will be commercially lucrative to the masses ... so, it ends up as a bit of a vicious circle - where people are just being "fed" the same music.
So, we're building Go To Hear with a different angle, embracing ideas from different Online and Offline models, and linking in to Live Music Events, Hospitality Venues and Other Businesses. We are currently building out the Demo/Beta/MVP, whilst continually furthering other development progress. Marketing and Launch plans are developing, alongside further team and partner engagement.
