Heute kommen wir zu einer Band die mich für viele viele Jahre begleitet hat und indirekt heute noch beeinflusst. Das erste mal hörte ich ASP 2000 und war sofort begeistert. Die Gründer Alexander "Asp“ Frank Spreng und Mathias "Matze" Ambré schufen mit der Geschichte um den Schwarzen Schmetterling ein Liederzyklus der mitriss. Anfangs noch sehr Elektrisch ging die Musik immer mehr in Gothic Rock über.
Für die Liveauftritte holte Matze 2000 seine alten freunde Oliver „Himmi“ Himmighoffen und Andreas „Tossi“ Gross in die Band, die von nun an ein Teil von ASP waren.
Lieder wie "Ungeschickter Liebesbrief" traf die unglücklich verliebte Seele genau so wie die Lieder Ich will brennen Pure Leidenschaft ausfdrückt. Es wurden dunkle und düstere geschichten erzählt und mit "Ich bin ein wahrer Satan" kampfte man gegen die Stigmatesierung der Menschen und die gleichzeitige Akzeptanz der Neonazis (Heute wohl Aktueller als Damals).
Außerdem wurde die Single Ich will brennen im Rahmen einer Kampagne zur Erhaltung des Rechts auf Privatkopie veröffentlicht. Der Single lagen ein Statement der Band, ein Aufkleber und ein CD-Rohling bei, auf den sich die Käufer ihre eigene Best-Of brennen sollten.
2007 ASP, Matze und der ehemalige Backgroundsänger Max Testory (Ja genau der Sänger von Die Kammer) beschlossen eine gemeinsame Akustiktour der Bands ASP und Chamber. Auf dieser Once in a lifetime genannten Konzertreise spielten sie in gemischter Besetzung ein Best of beider Bands.
2011 kam es zum Bruch zwischen ASP und Matze und Matze verlies die Band und mit ihm die Seele der Band. 2012 entließ ASP dann noch Himmi, da dieser bei der neuen Band von Matze, Die Kammer, als Schlagzeuer aushelfen wollte.
Damit wurde Himmi teil von Die Kammer.
Und meine Geschichte mit ASP endete 2011. 2012 begann dann Die Kammer!
Today we talk about a band that has accompanied me for many many years and indirectly influenced today.
The first time I heard ASP 2000 and I was immediately excited. The founders Alexander "Asp" Frank Spreng and Mathias "Matze" Ambré created a song cycle with the story of the Black Butterfly. At first still very electric, the music became more and more Gothic Rock.
Matze asked his two old friends Oliver "Himmi" Himmighoffen and Andreas "Tossi" Gross in the year 2000 to come in the band, who now on were a part of ASP.
Songs like "Awkward Love Letter" hit the unfortunately in love soul just like the songs I want to burn Pure Passion Expresses.
There songs told dark and gloomy stories and with "I am a true Satan" was fighting against the stigmatization of the people and the simultaneous acceptance of the neo-Nazis (Today probably more current than then).
Also, the single "I Want to Burn" was published as part of a campaign to preserve the right to private copying. The single was accompanied by a statement from the band, a sticker and a blank CD, on which the buyers should burn their own best-of.
2007 ASP, Matze and the former background singer Max Testory (yes exactly the singer of the chamber) decided a common acoustic tour of the bands ASP and Chamber. On this once in a lifetime concert tour they played a mixed cast of Best of both bands.
In 2011 ASP and Matze broke up and Matze left the band and with him the soul of the band. ASP then dismissed Himmi in 2012, as he wanted to help out in the new band of Matze, Die Kammer, as Drummer
And my story with ASP ended in 2011. 2012 then began ** The Chamber **!

ASP hab ich schon oft am Mera Luna gesehen. Ich find die klasse
Früher wären sie es auch 😊.
Heute finde ich sie nicht mehr so gut. Aber ich kann Die Kammer nur empfehlen. Ist zwar etwas anderes aber musikalisch sehr sehr gut.
