I read /listened to your post this morning, and for some reason it reminded me of an Austrian girlfriend I had. She was also a little bit clever - she worked at cern! lol.
She came from a very 'intellectual' family,(the opposite of me). Music was a big part their life too.
I remember a feeling of a melancholy for what I didn't have, somehow - and this post reminded me of that....
(my families cultural high points extended to buying cream to have in a cup of instant coffee ππ)
Don't worry it was only a fleeting feeling, I'm well over it now!
Brazilian girlfriend, Austrian girlfriend ... I do remember you once said that was your favourite way to get to know different cultures. π
Have you had a girlfried from each continent?! I am going to place my bet on YES!
