First of all it is almost impossible that bitcoin will hit zero and why it is impossible to hit bitcoin zero because following must be happened.
All the countries joins together to enforce the ban on bitcoin.
All the countries start to crack the bitcoin holders.
Bitcoin develop a bug that its developer unable to solve.
If this scenario is developed then what will happened.
Bitcoin holders will lose all their investment.
Crypto currencies will lost their complete trust and as a result all the currencies will become to zero.
its a repeat question so i will keep it short. it is not possible for bitcoin to be 0. it can be a very low value maybe less than $1000 but i dont see it going below $100 ever.
I thought of the same thing, as having it at the price of 0 means that absolutely nobody wants to come near it, that there is absolutely no demand for it, which it impossible at least for now. I mean bitcoin might become obsolete a couple of centuries later, where it is no longer the representation of crypto-currency due to its disability to achieve its goal. it would inevitably has its price recede over time. At the end miners would be gradually discouraged to let go of mining it rendering it utterly died.
See repeated questions may be come because everyone has same doubt or question and musing is a platform where everyone community every members get a chance to have their opinion and questions in front of other people.
then the very big investments comes in bitcoin and it will shoot back again to 20000 dollars because then i will buy 15-20 thousand btc and if i can buy that much , other wil buy in millions.
Everyone here is possibly wrong, in human civilization, over large spans of time, all currency has historically became zero.
So if bitcoin goes to 0 USD, probably USD is also 0?
So if bitcoin goes to 0 USD, probably we don't need USD, think Star Trek.
So if bitcoin goes to 0 USD, within next 20 years, it's unlikely unless super computers or quantum computer take a leap forward (shrunk down to a laptop instead of a freezen within a freezer) and we can hack bitcoin like a phone app.
