STEEM is in my opinion.
First of all it's not a pump and dump scheme. Although there were doubts by some in the beginning, time has shown that the developers are in it for the Long haul.
It has real world us that is growing. STEEM/Steem is proving itself to be an ecosystem of use cases that will through survival of the fittest improve the quality of the platform and as a result the value of the coin.
The onboarding system which has been a limitation is improving over time. As users grow the success of the platform will grow exponentially.
No fees. Said another way: NO FEES!
It's fast. Said another way: IT''S FAST!
In regards to credentials, it's easy compared to most other cryptos. With wallet names that can be remembered it is easier to send coins and login and as compared to other coins.
I've invested and both earned and lost money in other cyptos. Steem for me has real world practicality that for me is the measure of the likely hood of it's success.
