It is very possible depending on the person and their background and other reasons. Why do i say this, not all people happen to grow with mothers that showed them love or raised them up in a good way or even showed them love. So most people in this category when they finally meet a woman who loves them and gives them the love they have never received from their mothers, it is but normal that they will love their wives more than their mothers since because of how they have portrayed themselves.
When it comes to family, it's not about who has your blood or who usurps the tittle of mother but it is she who has acted and treated you like a son/daughter. That is why some children will not only grow to love their wives more but also love their foster parents more than their real parents. This is a perfect example to demonstrate that relationships are nurtured and cultivated. So if you share a deeper relationship with your wife, then it is possible that you will easily love her more.
So, like i said before, it depends on the individual and circumstances but i think i will love them equally and i never want to be placed in a position to choose between the two.
