Amateur radio operators such as myself would. My license callsign is W3DTV. If you heard me say, "(Your callsign), This is whiskey-three-(radio static)-victor" and you are a fellow amateur radio operator you would say, "QRZ", as shorthand for "who is calling me?" and I would know you didn't hear my callsign so I would repeat, "(Your callsign), This is whiskey-three-delta-tengo-victor". QRZ like all other Q codes are used internationally in the amateur radio community.

I've invested around 250 dollar but i've cashed out previously and am now trying to obtain more steem by actually using the platform :)

Hello!
It will be soon :)
Q3 2018
I can't wait!

Update on my previous answer, I just saw an update from steemitblog, it would be Q3 2018

https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/steemit-blockchain-team-update-appbase-rocksdb-bandwidth-hf20-smts-and-more

Exciting news!!!

They have given 3rd quarter 2018 for HF20, but no date for SMT. For SMT, I think soon after the HF20 which would be late 3rd quarter or 4th quarter 2018.

The developer are quite quiet about the development of HF20 and SMT, so only the internal developers know about it. But on the GitHub, it can be seen that there is a few patches they had been working on for HF20, SMT wise no.

Whenever @Ned decides the time is right.

Soon. Right after 'Communities' I think.

As much as I think would be nice to drop into a million dollar project.

Being stirred to wake up from a "wet dream"!

That we need to spend so many hours of sleeping as a human being. If I only know how, I would create a pill that enable us to need less sleep so that we can do more things and achieve more in life.

Waking up

That I'm not awake and doing something productive.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I only need around 4 hours of sleep to feel great. I've been that way since I was a kid. I regret that I sleep that much, I can push it down to 2 or 3 hours for a week or so, but it usually catches up and I will sleep for 7 or 8 hours. Then feel horrible for sleeping that much.

Most of the extra time I either work or educate myself with that extra time. I enjoy my work so pu1lling 10 to 16 hours in a day doing stuff you love is awesome.

Think of it this way, I'm 42, if the average 42 year old sleeps 8 hours a day they have been asleep for 14 years...... If I only sleep 4 hours, I have 7 more years of life experiences and time for learning..... Which is an advantage, and I will take all the advantages I can get.

Nightmares where you see in your dreams your love ones are in trouble.

Such a good question. I have a lot of answers. Both bad and good. It will take a long time but I will make it short. My focus shifted from myself and my significant other to the little one. There was so much hope, so much awe and so much love for the new little being.

Lovely answer :)
thank you very much

I became a parent at 17. Then our second child came into the world when I was 20. The biggest challenge for me then was to earn enough to support not just myself but also my wife and two kids.

We eventually had 4 kids. Supporting them financially is still a challenge.

The biggest change in my life was that I had to care not just for myself but for my offsprings and wife as well. I think this contributed to my resilience. Parenthood will teach you many things and being patient is one of them.

I bet pacience and resilience grow a lot! There's no other way!
thank you for sharing your experience.

Less sleep. Less free time. And definitely less "us" time with the missus.

I find myself worrying about the child more than I would like to admit. I'm always thinking about "what if" and go take a bunch of precautions.

Furthermore, as a parent, I found myself taking financial decisions more seriously and become involved in more investment ventures and smart savings because I hope my son will benefit from what we built for him later on.

smart savings seems a good idea in order to keep everything under control in the future. thanks for the answer

Something I noticed about a year after my daughter was born was that since we had her, I've never been bored. It seems like now, for basically the first time in my life, I never have enough time to do all of the things that I want to do. I never spend enough time with my family, enough time working, enough time exercising, or enough time on my hobbies.

Not that I'm complaining; the joy of getting to know my daughter easily outweighs all of the added challenges.

When I was single I can buy whatever I want whenever I like. But when I got married and have kids even buying socks is hard to do coz I need to prioritized my children before myself. Seems funny but true.lol..

With over $321 million spent to make the movie and was released on the 28th April 2018 has already made more then $1.6 billion in revenue.
Which was your favourite character in Avengers Infinity Wars ?

Mine was Dr Strange ! What about you ?

Had to be Dr Strange. He, along with Iron Man, made the most out of Thanos. As one of the few characters having the most screen time, Dr Strange is a pivotal character in this episode as his usage of the time stone set the plot for next year's Avengers 4.
"We are in the endgame", "14,000,605 and only 1 where we win"
And his sacrificial bargain with Thanos in exchange of keeping Tony Stark alive, that was EPIC.

Hulk - Because Mark Ruffalo was not able to transform him.

Dlive :

  • You can live streaming
  • You can upload your video and waiting for people to watch your video.

Dtube :
You can only upload your video and waiting for people to watch your video, no live streaming feature at this moment.

So the different is only live streaming feature on dlive, which dtube doesn't have right now.

Spelling.lol😆☺️

its always good to forgive if its a minor betrayal. for those major betrayals- cheating, stealing, murder, lying or physically harming you or a loved one- treat it like a game of halo, boot that fucker from your life and move on.

You need to use it as fuel , the anger needs to burn inside you to create or manifest something productive. It may be very difficult but a man who seeks revenge should dig 2 graves.

Not plan a revenge, wallow for a bit then use the anger to fuel my drive to become sucessful

There could be some breakthroughs, however, space travel is still a matter for the distant future (with the current known technology)

No I think this will take more than 100 years. I recently found out that some of the ISS astronauts already got more than 20% bone degredation in less then 6 months. This needs to be overcome in order to stay healthy

I think within 15 years Elon and the Space X team will have made humans interstellar beings, meaning we will have successfully put people on Mars. I don't think it will be the norm but it will at least be a reality that living on Mars because something possible.

I don't even think it would hit $5

Its impossible, XRP had highest surge to $1.8.

Mathew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Keep on asking and searching and hopefully you will find the answers.

You learn. Pick the first question you have and start looking for the answer. If you are going altruistic and start with a big one like "What is the meaning of life," I'll give you a little help.
It is to LIVE every moment, give it everything you have, every minute you have, because you are not promised another second.

Just my #twocents take it or leave it.

Lol.. Nice one

Steemapple's answer is better though. That's usually the first place I start.

You post them here and hope for a satisfactory response.

Gaining weight is a lot easier than losing it. Prevention is better than cure, so as soon as you notice that your weight is going up, do something about it. Here's what I do. I weigh myself everyday and if I see an alarming increase, I start eating less. I drink more water and I get myself some green smoothies. Its difficult but I try really hard. And I try to reduce carb and replace bad carb with good ones like sweet potatoses

do to an injury that i received several years ago, my ability to perform several every day physical activities was drastically reduced. for a time i had to rely on a mobility scooter just to get around the house. of coarse the lack of exercise caused my weight to sky rocket.
now with new pain medication and a tenz unit i'm becoming more active.
tips on loosing weight that have worked for me:
a 2000 calories a day diet.
more vegetables and fruits.
no soda or candy, no cakes or dessert pies or pastries.
coffee lemon juice prune juice and mineral oil are effective diuretics and laxatives.
drink a liter of plain water a day.
sauna suits have worked for me just don't over do it.
exercise as much as you can.
good luck and be safe

Work out , Drink Water, Eat right

I'm totally slim, but to answer this I suggest to do exercise, eat more fruits and veggies rather than meat, avoid too much sugar and the most of all you should have DISCIPLINE to follow all these.

I will answer only the last part: Vote selling hurts the steemit platform far more than anything else. Vote buyers are greedy or ignorant of the long term effects of their actions. Voting is to the advantage of both the voter and the user being voted. If no one is buying votes, the sp holders would still have to vote in order to enjoy the benefits of curation as well as for the value of steem to appreciate.

Depends on which part of life. A partner which betrayes you can be less painfull then your own parents maybe. You feel empty, exhausted and desperate. But then again, the only one you need and love the most is yourself. Never loose trust in yourself!

How to edit or delete questions or answers at Musing.io?

I typed the same answer twice and posted both because I did not know that the earlier one had gone through. I would like to delete one of them but don't know how to.

You can do it on steemit.com. before it will appear as blog post but now they change it and it only appears now on the comment section. So if you wanted to edit just go to your steemit account at the comment section.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

lets reframe the question eh?

"why do nothing when you're living if you have a whole eternity do it instead?"

Both questions are equally legit. You DONT have to do anything at all with your life. Nature doesn't care, the universe doesn't care.

There is no purpose to life. Well, there is kinda one technically, biologically your purpose is to pass on your DNA and ensure that the Homo Sapiens does not go extinct. maybe that's the only thing nature cares about when it comes to what you should do.

It's all about perspective. Because there is no "greater purpose" in life, Life is exactly what you make it to be. Be it good or bad.

I dont care about what happens to me after i die the same way i didnt care what happened to me before i was born. This lifetime is what i have and you damn right im going to make the best of it with what i have.

We can talk about it more if you are interested in a civil discussion. It's 2.25am now as i type this and my mind isnt exactly sharp.

Great answer. The evolutionary definition is always useful to think about, and I've thought about this question a lot too! I've come to the same conclusions - that we were created and built to survive, and that our existence is most likely at least unknown to us within our ability to know. However, if and when you accept that we exist to survive and to prosper, then it can make life a lot more exciting! There should be pride in living a life aimed at prosperity imo.

Religion is man made and heaven is a place on earth.. Or is heaven even a place? Heaven is an idea. Your heaven is different from my heaven. The idea of heaven is to motivate us to do good. But even without that idea, doing good is always uplifting.. Once you do good, you realize how good it feels and you would want to do more. It's nothing to do with religion.

Religion is a tool for subordinating and controlling people. Forget religion. Spirituality is what we need.

Pretty long...

Forever.

Human beings are motivated either by pain of pleasure. Simulate enough of both, and you will be able to manipulate/motivate someone.

To be able to manipulate/motivate someone better, get into the details of their pain and pleasure. The more precise the hot buttons you pressed, the more likely you'll be able to manipulate the person.

Nice one. You sound like Anthony Robins.

We are so easily manipulated because we generally lack the ability of critical thinking. We blindly accept facts that others teach us in schools, workplaces, at homes, etc... Many of us never ask ourselves if the words, facts or anything that other present to us is true. We are easily manipulated because we don't think, or we don't want to think.

Well said...I wanted to say the same thing but finding it difficult to articulate myself.

Reason is just greed.

Humans are generally trusting creatures, from the day we were born we learned to live by putting our trust to people who take care of us. Unknowingly a baby learns how to survive depending on who they are with and with that in mind people grow up.

Whether a human was pampered or not you can still manipulate them, its just the effort it takes to gain their confidence in you which is hard but by gaining their trust and after that you can basically have them do anything depending on how deep your connection with them is.

Sunday for most Christian-based faiths was established through history rather than scripture. There is nothing in the New Testament to designate sunday as the sabbath.  When Emperor Constantine I came to power he legalized Christianity and made the first Sunday keeping law in the year 321. Constantine's Sunday enforcement law was officially confirmed by the Council of Laodicea in the year 364. The later adoption of the Gregorian calandar later helped to cement sunday as the sabbath.

It's because some people who are close minded feel threatened by gay people. As well, many of those who discriminate against gays, have probable self-esteem issues.

We don't die. Our bodies die. We remain - that is our consciousness continues, only - for a while - we no longer have the physical body to identify with and play around in. We realise when we "die", if not before, that we are not these bodies but eternal beings of love and light who can play many games in many types of bodies in many universes. When bodiless, we can review all of our life experiences, and understand them, and accordingly choose what our next incarnation will be.

That is how it functions in my cosmos, anyway!

We wake up from the dream. We review our 'life'. We rest and recover :). We plan the next incarnation as 'formless spirit' taking on yet another 'physicality' in order to experience, to learn, to grow - ever expanding in an utterly interconnected and living universe of energetic benevolence.

Time ceases to exist and we continue living as an ethereal being in infinity. Or nothing... :D

My best guess is based on a quote from Einstein. "A soul is energy, energy's law tells us that energy never gets lost". Gives something to think about from Athiest to believer

It doesn't matter if you can't figure it out.

Pinch yourself

Ourselves

There is an entire Wikipedia article on copyright on religious works. Pick up a bible. If the title page has a copyright notice that is who decided that that bible is God's word.

God did, when he breathed the words into existance.

Read the Bible for you to know the answer. The answer is in the Bible itself.

No one knows for sure. And i'm okay with it.

Death is not the end of life, but the beginning of eternity. The lifeless body is not buried in the depths of the earth. There is a spirit that must experience a long journey, can be terrible can also be fun. All depends on good deeds in the world. after the initial death of a real life without a dead word and continue to practice what we do in the natural world

The society or the majority.

That really sucks... Why should the society or majority determine how one lives one's life

To propagate and continue the human race.

Depends on your beliefs, really. I do not think their is a correct answer here. Some may say to continue on the human race and another may question that statement with "why should the human race continue on?" Is there a bigger picture here?
Why are we able to ask ourselves these questions when a dog or cat is not yet we still have the same reproductive functionality of both.
I would say ask yourself what you think your purpose is here, maybe it is something like taking care of your child, being a florist or space travel. Whatever you believe your purpose to be is probably why you were born.
Unless of course one day the sky opens up and some guy looks down at his project and tells us we are all part of his sons middle school biome science project.

When we are born we do not have anything but we die with our name. We are born so that we can write our name in the pages of history. Future generations can remember us for our good works. We have to make great efforts to realize our birth.

We are biological programmed to have "lust" which have one single big result. Children. Only Dolphins and monkeys also have sex because of lust. Rest is purely surival instinct, which we humans also have a bit.

Infinity is a concept. Mathematicians can treat infinity as a number but it is not literally meant to be a real or natural number. An object can be said to be multiplied by an infinite number of times or one object can be divided into an infinite amount of smaller units.

If you want to "look at infinity" then look at a fractal. A fractal can be magnified indefinitely without losing its structure because a fractal can have infinite perimeters.

You can't. If you could it would not be infinite.

Sin is vice or viciousness - the absence of virtue.

Virtues include love (real selfless universal love), peace, joy, humility, compassion, honesty and so on - there are many other virtues, and they are all characterised by selflessness, unity, and freedom. Virtues are qualities of the soul, and they are innately natural to us.

Sin is the inverse of these sorts of qualities, such as hate, violence, greed, arrogance, cold-heartedness, deceit - there are many more sins also, and they are characterised by selfishness, manipulation, and restriction. Sin is alien to the soul (albeit natural to our animal bodies), and an accumulation of sin blocks out the natural virtues of the soul.

Virtue elevates us and makes us more happy and contented, loving and caring, peaceful and harmonious. Virtue attracts virtue. Being virtuous attracts more virtue to us.

Sin, on the other hand, debases us. Sin is self-destructive and masochistic, and makes us fearful and miserable, cold and ruthless, hard and vicious. Sin attracts sin. Over time, we become lost and tormented souls.

In these times, the human race is increasingly dominated by sin, especially by those who seek to dominate us. Capitalism promotes and rewards sin. Our political systems promote and reward sin. Our cultural systems increasingly celebrate sin. All of this can only end in self-destruction, misery, and pain - and we can see that happening now all around us. The solution is in our own hands: renounce our sins and embrace our virtues.

Sin is literally self abuse, as every reaction produces a counter reaction from the cosmos. We get what we give. There are always consequences of the same nature and in direct proportion to the viciousness that we perpetrate. This is natural cosmic justice, and it operates immaculately whether we believe in it or not.

How do you deal with resentment?

Question can be answered in two ways: how do you overcome resentment or how do you handle people who resent you.

I just try to root of the resentment. Recognizing the root of your resentment will help direct you in how to overcome it.

Nope. They are completely different platforms.

How would steem win value if every new user increases inflation?

Is it possible for steem to gain value given that every new user increases its total supply?

The value of steem is indirectly proportional to its popularity and popularity is directly proportional to number of users on the platform. More users means more demand for steem and when demand increases, price goes up.

Thats wrong , the Reward Pool does stay the same no matter how many users are active or how many new users sign up. Just have a look at the steemit FAQ: https://steemit.com/faq.html#How_many_new_tokens_are_generated_by_the_blockchain The Inflation does start at 9.5% and does decrease by 0.01% every 250 000 Blocks (~0.5% per year)

Definitely, it is good time to buy.

It depends on what your goals and expectations are but I'd say it's a good time to buy some. Or even better to earn them via Steem ecosystem.

In my opinion, BTC can't be holded for long time.

Why is that?

Bitcoin will get legitimacy in all countries?

Many countries think that Bitcoin is harmful for their country. They think that Bitcoin will create inflation in their country. But is that right? Will Bitcoin never get all the legitimacy?

I guess it would take a while, and not all in one time, gradually, one by one, at last, it will.

Hmm, I just tried it out by answering a question on the site and it still posted to my blog. Does this only apply for answers on questions moving forward? (Edit: I deleted it from my blog, just in case anyone goes to look and is confused.)

Sorry 'bout that. There was some lag time between our systems. Your questions and answers should now be created as comments.

Awesome! Thank you so much, I love this project! Very excited to contribute now that the blog thing has been changed :)

Why does the Sun and the Moon seem the same size?

We know that the Sun is much larger than the Moon. However, when viewed from the Earth, the Sun and Moon appear to be about the same size. The reason for this is that the Sun is about 400 times larger than the moon, but at the same time about 400 times farther away. As a result, the Sun seems to be the same size as the Moon. However, isn't it a strange coincidence that the Sun is 400 times bigger and 400 times farther away? Is it just a coincidence or a thought-provoking question?

Distance versus size, using rough estimates for brevity. Basically, the sun is 400 times larger than the moon. Then the Sun is 400 times further from earth than the moon. This gives the appearance that they are the same size.
Very few planets in the Universe could produce the spectacular Solar eclipses seen from earth, because of this near perfect ratio.

That thought-provoking question... Is it by design or coincidence? When I posted my answer I did not see your answer.

I liked your answer. Very detailed... :)

I actually heard it from a preacher year in support of a universal design.

Is Musing uploading my post with my local computer time?

Seems like my postings are uploaded with my local computer time...

Money could be one of them. A better life.. Better future for the children. So many ...

It's a pretty broad, open question. However, in order to respond, nowadays, it impels or motivates me everything I think or do, my family. It's like that, that's my motor to propulsion to move forward and motivate me every second of my life. (My family, including my pets.) I hope you have answered at least partially. Good luck, good day friend!

why animals are so faithful to humans, however, we mistreat them, abandon them and do not value them?

The question is simple. why are we like this? we should change our attitude.

Life isn't always fair. It just so happens that as humans we are more intelligent and have the power to take advantage of other species.

Another point is that while dogs are the prime example of faithful creatures, we also bred them to be this way.

I dont need to be the richest person on the world to live a life i want without worries.. Heck, i dont even need to be the top 1 million richest people in the world. A geographical untethered income of roughly $40,000 USD a year(in any form of value) is already enough to set me up for life.

So no, I won't do it. Because it's unnecessary to get me what i want.

Some movie, book, interesting information, journalistic article, something that you recommend me?

That's my question, someone who recommends any of the above options? It can be of any subject as long as it is interesting and helps me learn something new. Thank you :)

Book - Bible, interesting information - jw.org

Musing will surely keep on growing if users will post a lot of questions. I keep on searching questions but only seeing few. If users will get rewarded like a little bit high upvote value I'm sure this platform will be flooded with questions. Does musing.io have any plans to give rewards to users that will post questions? Like $0.05 per question posted or maybe higher?
