Symptoms:

Your Ledger Nano S used to work on your Windows 7 system with MEW under Chrome but doesn't now.

Other Ledger Nano S devices DO WORK.

Diagnosis:

A corruption of the USB device key in the registry

exists

Solution:

Remove your Ledger Nano S from the computer by unplugging the USB cable

Download USBDeview

from http://www.nirsoft.net/

Extract and run the program.

Sort by Description by clicking the column

header

Highlight ALL lines that show a device name at looks like "0000.0014.0000..." "USB Input Device"

under description and "HID (Human Interface Device)" under device type.

Delete them.

Close program

Plug in

your Ledger Nano S, enter your 8 digit code, start Chrome and MEW. It should work now.serveimage.jpg
